Member Definition & Fees

Star Member

These are non-professional members, mostly students. This will encourage these people for future initiatives and leadership.

Fee = 200/- yearly

Donor

A donor is an honorable person of the community and is always accepted with any amount. The name of a donor will appear in our donor list, on the website and in our brochure. His suggestions will be highly appreciated. But he will not be a voting member.

Fee = as they wish (anytime)

Members

These are regular donating and active members who can provide opinion. They are able to vote.

Fee = 2000/- per tree per year (once or twice)

EC Member

These members will work on the project planning, execution, decision making and liabilities of the project. They are supposed to donate the minimum amount and encouraged to donate more.

Fee = 4,000/- per year

The best time to plant Trees was 20 years ago.

Rules & Responsibilities

Executive Committee

The executive committee will be formed from among the members of the society. This committee will carry out the planning and execution of different projects with the help of the volunteers and members. They are responsible for planning, funding, management, successful execution of the plan etc.

  • EC will be created through the direct voting of the members of the society.
  • EC should carryout the regular projects as usual and maintain the records.
  • For any regular agenda EC is capable of taking decision.
  • Any project that is different than the projects we are supposed to do should be brought before general members.
  • Balance sheet should be presented in annual general meeting.
  • meeting date and agenda should be uploaded 15 days before the general meeting and 3 days before EC meeting.
  • Urgent meetings can be held with a notice of 3 days for general and 24hrs for EC meetings.
  • in all cases majority should make the final call. In case of equal vote, the chair of the committee should use his vote to solve the dispute.

Member

A regular donating person with a professional experience of 05 (five) years with a record of being regular donor for 01 (one) year can apply for the membership. The EC will decide upon the application. A regular member

  • should be a regular donating member.
  • should respond to the call of EC for support
  • will get the updates of the projects.
  • will have the right to vote on different issues (for ex. Big budget exp. and so on).
  • will be called for general meeting and can give his opinions/suggestions on issues.
  • will be closed if, discontinued donation (for one year)/legal offence/self-resignation is found.

NOET: If a donor pays for one year can be considered as member.

Donor

A donor is any person willing to donate any amount anytime for the cause. A donor

  • will be able to know about the projects.
  • will be listed in the website as honorable donor.
  • will have no particular responsibility.
  • is encouraged to provide suggestions or any other support for the cause.
  • will not be a voting member.

Star Member

Star members are the non-professional members mostly students (UG max) and person under 18years of age. A star member

  • will be donating an amount for the projects.
  • can work as volunteers on projects.
  • will not be a voting member.
  • Will get advantage in joining the member after fulfilling the professional requirements.

NOTE: Any membership can be challenged by a regular member or EC member and should be resolved in general meeting.
